After turning 40 this patient began a weight loss journey with diet and exercise that would leave her 150 pounds lighter. Following such dramatic weight loss she was more determined than ever to look as good as she felt and knew Dr Poulter was just the person to help her reach those goals. The excess skin of her midsection and arms were her biggest concerns as she felt they were the most difficult to fit in clothing. Because the amount of excess skin was so great, we developed a 3 stage surgical plan to help her achieve her body contouring goals. The first surgery was an abdominoplasty, the cornerstone surgery of body contouring paired with a fleur de lis extension (vertical excision of excess skin). Her second surgery was three months later that completed her midsection improvement with a lateral thigh and buttock lift. Finally we were able to improve the appearance of her arms with brachioplasty. After a near 20 pound additional loss of excess skin she is thrilled with her results and loves the improvement of her contour.
