This 45-year old woman came to Dr. Poulter after being diagnosed with left sided breast cancer. She opted to have a bilateral mastectomy for immediate reconstruction. She returned for weekly expansion until reaching her desired size, very similar to her previous size. During second stage reconstruction, we placed her actual silicone gel implants. To complete her reconstruction, nipple reconstruction and nipple/areolar complex tattooing were performed.
