This 54 year old woman presented to us to discuss breast reduction. She had recently had a lapband placed and lost a significant amount of weight but continued to have large breast that caused her pain and discomfort. After waiting a year from initial consult to attempt to get to her goal weight, she underwent breast reduction. We took off a full 5 pounds of tissue during her procedure. Since the procedure, she is much more active and is no longer embarrassed about the size of her breasts.
