Patient is 44 years old desiring larger breasts and hoping to make them more symmetrical at the same time. The left side has less lower pole show and has a lower nipple than the right. Her surgery required placement of different sized implants and slightly more internal dissection on the left to help create better symmetry. The dual plane technique used, kept us from having to make additional incisions on the skin to correct the asymmetry. This opened the lower pole of the left side nicely. We selected round extra projection responsive silicone gel implants to limit the lateral show of her breast and have the implant a little softer than the cohesive “gummy bear fill” gel. The patient is very happy with her results and improved symmetry.
