This 40 year old woman came to us to discuss breast reconstruction after a positive biopsy for left breast cancer. Due to the high probability of recurrence on the right, the patient opted for a bilateral mastectomy. We did the initial reconstruction immediately and completed the second stage after she completed chemotherapy. She initially was small breasted and opted to go for a larger size implant in her second stage reconstruction with silicone gel implants. She returned later for nipple and areolar complex tattooing.
